Description

The great June Haver plays Birdie McKessler, a receptionist friendly and intuitive, but who can only type 22 words a minute. When her employers try to fire her, they discover her real value. The host of today's show, George Lloyd Murphy, was an actor who went on in the 1960s to become a U.S. Senator from California. This remastered family classic aired live on October 14, 1948, and presented here with a new introduction from Father David Guffey.
