Dirk Fukushima has been producing local television for the last 30 years. He's probably best known as the creator of Hawaii Stars, but has worked with every musician on the island. We talk about how TV production has changed in the last 30 years, the history of local TV and Hawaii Starts. Dirk educates us on what a TV producer does, and gives us some interesting stories about his career including interviewing Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan.
