In this first mixtape youโll enter my world of Gimli, where Iโll show you a selection of my favourite tunes to play during sets. Starting of with positive and feelgood gospel and disco, moving up the tempo to energetic house and breaky techno and finishing of with trancey tunes and hyperpop-ish bangers.
Gimli has a wide experience on stage as he played more than 500 shows in his 10+ years as a DJ. He played at festivals like We Are Electric, Amsterdam Dance Event, Draaimolen, Into The Woods, Solar Weekend and Sziget and in venues like 013, Effenaar and ZiggoDome. Furthermore heโs a Disco Snolly resident, booker at Club Smederij and plays all kind of different music under his aliases โDe Managerโ and โHet Hiphop Journaalโ.
