Nima Warfield is an educator, professional network marketer, fitness evangelist and global adventurer. Nima attended Morehouse College and graduated in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in English. During his final year there, he won the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship and used it to earn a second bachelor’s plus a master’s degree in English from the University of Oxford (St. Edmund Hall), as well as a master’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of London’s School of Oriental & African Studies. Nima holds the distinction of being the first student from any HBCU (historically Black college or university) to be named a Rhodes Scholar.
He later joined The Wall Street Journal’s news team in New York City, and while there he and his colleagues were awarded a Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of the September 11th terror attacks. In the wake of that unforgettable day, he found a new calling as a champion for what he calls “peak living,” and he began promoting lifestyle changes for optimal health and wellness both at home and abroad. In the midst of that journey Nima found Youngevity and, under the brilliant care of Phyllis & Andy Anderson, he found a home that he has never even considered leaving.
His relentless pursuit of happiness has led him and his brand-new bride Alexandra to Birmingham, in “Sweet Home” Alabama, and they are on a mission to help leaders of all sorts improve their health so that they can live fabulously active lives and serve as beacons of hope and inspiration within their families and communities.
Alexandra (“Alex”) Peña Warfield was born to immigrant parents—a Haitian mother and a Colombian father—who met working at a factory in central New Jersey. Alex speaks English, Spanish and Haitian Creole fluently. She is a professional network marketer and a dance-fitness instructor who has trained since she was seven years old. She has always had an entrepreneurial streak and her personality is as big as her hair. From an early age Alex wanted to be rich and change the world and she believed stardom could help her do that. For years she pursued a career in entertainment—namely acting, singing and dancing.
Alex is certifiably unemployable and could never feel fulfilled working for a boss other than herself. At age 19 she enthusiastically jumped into network marketing and began her unrelenting search for success in this amazing industry. Fifteen years into the quest, which up to then had been full of frustration and disappointment with other MLM companies, she met Nima Warfield at a boot camp at their local gym. He let her taste his nutrient cocktail after a class and she was immediately hooked on Youngevity’s delicious products and excited by the powerful income opportunity.
Now that Alex & Nima have found the vibrant Zoom community built by amazing YGY leaders like Tom Chenault and Raymond & Yolanda Brown, Alex is thrilled to take part in phenomenal trainings and be a member of an incredible family that wants to see her and her brand-new husband soar higher in service to the world. Having a partner in business and in life is what Alex has wanted more than anything and now she can say she's absolutely living her best life.
