We're back, it's been a few weeks, but we haven't gone anywhere. We've got quite a deep discussion today as we talk about the state of the modern blockbuster and the impact of nostalgia. We go over how more often than not, in order to get a blockbuster made at the moment it has to be based on an already existing IP, and how this might impact the future opportunities for original ideas. Despite it being Christmas, it's probably one of our more serious episodes, but we do still manage to end of a few hopes for the future!
