Description

Ed Amory has worked for some impressive, and very different, bosses in his time. He began in the Conservative Party, at the tail-end of Margaret Thatcher's time as Prime Minister. From there, Ed moved to be a journalist at the Daily Mail under Paul Dacre, whose leadership of the powerhouse paper has arguably been as influential, and as divisive, as Mrs Thatcher's. More recently, Ed was Managing Partner at freuds, the agency founded by Matthew Freud 35 years ago. Before social distancing was in common parlance, Ed headed out on a walk with Matt Barbet to talk about the lessons learned in those three distinct, but related, areas of politics, journalism and communications.
