My production style here contains elements of dubstep, Southern hip hop and musique concrète. One of the synth parts contains an interpolation of the yuletide hymn "O Lord of Light" beginning at 3:10. Additional lyrics come from Björk's song "Pneumonia" off of her 2007 album Volta. Prior to being released on my album Diamonds and Plastic, this song was only available on my SoundCloud page at http://soundcloud.com/reuben-walton. It is now also available on my PureVolume page at http://www.purevolume.com/ReubenWalton.
Lyrics:
Derek Crofut: If I wanted food, I'd ask for/If I wanted food, I'd make more soil/All this time, you/We have a picture for you/we framed it accurately/baby baby it's your birthday/oh, the sorrow, girl/You're just crying, after all/crying, after all/to not want them humans around anymore/made of this/you can trust in it/and your lungs are mourning tipi-style/all the stillborn love that oh-could have happened/all the moments you should have embraced/all the moments you should have not locked out/understand so clearly/made of this/you can trust in it/
Reuben Walton: What are you playing?
Derek Crofut: Get over the sorrow, girl/
