"Bittersweet" is the third song that I've worked on with AVLI Music, a music producer based in Reseda, CA, and it was a song I had been working on since February-March 2013.
Lyrics:
Verse 1:
I think of you
‘cause your words are on my screen
And you're on my mind
And as that day
Grows further still in my rear view
It still haunts me
all the time
Chorus:
But there's still so much to be happy for
Even just to be here
And be where I am today
But it's bittersweet
Verse 2:
It could be grey
Or just indifferent sunshine
But It's not alright
Chorus:
But there's still so much to be happy for
Even just to be here
And be where I am today
But it's bittersweet
Bridge:
Situations they can change
and a lot won’t stay the same
and the moments, there’s no replay
And I keep telling myself
that one day I’ll get some help
gonna put the bottle down
Verse 3:
You’re far away
all the way across the world
but I’ll be here
when you return

This is my self-titled EP containing seven tracks I worked on with AVLI Music, a music producer based in Reseda, CA, who I met in 2015 at the ASCAP I Create Music EXPO at the Loew's Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. There are also musical and lyrical contributions from Jordan Siwek and Maryland upcoming rapper Questt. Creating this EP has been a labor of love and I'm so happy to see it finally come to fruition after almost four years. The EP is a raw emotional journey through personal songs, vibey tracks and danceable midtempos. It was mastered by Erick Labson at United Recording Studios in Los Angeles, CA.
