Well, first of all, I want to dedicate this song to my lovely wife.
We are married since thirty years next sunday, despite all the ups and downs.
And we both love the late Leonard Cohen, who published this song in 1984 on the album "Various Positions".
It's also my humble throaty and off-tune tribute to Mr. Cohen!
