New episode alert!!!! This week Gavin and I discuss the 2019 Japanese martial arts thriller ‘Hydra’, directed by Kensuke Sonomura and starring Takashi Sato. We break down everything ranging from: the slow-burning but well executed story, the impressive cinematography and of course the INSANE fight scenes! This film has gained a lot of positive buzz since its initial release and has most recently become available to stream on the ‘Hi-Yah!’ app, as well as receiving a blu-ray release courtesy of Well Go USA. There was a whole hell of a lot we enjoyed about this movie, but also some slight criticisms we had.
