Starring the OG 007 himself, Sir Sean Connery, this film is the 5th entry in the long running series, and one of the most fun to boot! This time around, we see Bond investigating the mysterious disappearance of both Soviet and American spaceships, heightening tensions between these two nations during the already tense Cold War. Although both governments blame each other, her Majesty’s Secret service believes there are other powers at play, and send Bond to investigate before tensions escalate between the two super powers, and the Cold War becomes a whole hell of a lot hotter! Set almost exclusively in Japan, viewers are treated to absolutely beautiful locales, authentic Japanese culture, and most importantly for this podcast, some legit martial arts sequences involving sumo, Kyokushin Karate, and other various forms of Budo!
