Perspectives Unsettled exists to challenge people. It’s literally in our name: we want to unsettle what has been stagnant, we want to challenge assumptions about faith and push people into taking Christianity seriously. What does it actually teach? Do we believe it, or not?
Being challenged is uncomfortable. And no one likes to go out of their way to make themselves intentionally uncomfortable. But it is important.
So - how do we challenge ourselves in an honest and healthy way? What does it take to shift from being challenged to changing, and what makes that so hard? And how do our opinions and beliefs and experiences mix with our concept of identity, and who God says we are?
