Health literacy is defined as a person’s ability to find, understand, and use information and services to make health-related decisions for themselves and others. Not taking health literacy into consideration when caring for our patients and families can result in poor outcomes. Health literacy and health equity is the bread and butter of this week's passionate guest Eva Gomez.
