Steve interviews Kenny Albert (00:13:27) from Fox Sports and the NHL on TNT. Kenny joins us to talk about his experience calling the World Baseball Classic. Kenny tells us where Trea Turner's grand slam ranks among his best calls of his career. Kenny also updated us on the NHL on TNT and explained why Wayne Gretzky is so important to what they are doing. Kenny also mentioned he has a new book coming out, updated us on Marv Albert, and briefly looked ahead to what will be his 30th year calling football games on FOX.

Also, Evan Drellich (00:53:41) from The Athletic, makes his debut to talk about his new book, "Winning Fixes Everything." Evan talks about his long journey reporting to write this book and explains how it spanned over two different jobs he has had. Evan explains the culture within the Houston Astros origination, their approach towards winning, and how their philosophies led to their infamous cheating scandal.

Steve kicks off the show talking about the Azzurri's first two games of 2023, his thoughts on the World Baseball Classic, and a tip of the cap to a small hockey program in Geneva, NY. The book club says goodbye Evan's book and adds a few others ranging in topics from baseball announcers to a classic soccer rivalry. OLT is a story about Steve's Dad having a stroke and what it's like to face your father's mortality.
