Description

Welcome to the first message in our miniseries, where we explore what it means to be truly at home with Jesus, whether you’re single or married.

In Scripture, the word “oikos” (Greek for “house” or “household”) doesn’t just refer to a building – it speaks of your relational world. Your family, friends, neighbours, and anyone you do life with. This is where the Gospel first takes root and we begin living out our faith.

📖 Throughout the New Testament, we see how households – of all shapes and sizes – were places where lives were transformed and disciples were made. Married or single, you have a household, and God wants to be at the centre of it.

In 1 Corinthians 7:17, Paul reminds us to honour God in whatever relationship space we find ourselves. He even calls singleness a gift – just as marriage is. Both are valuable, blessed, and part of God’s design.

🙌 The goal? Matthew 6:33 – seek first the Kingdom, and everything else falls into place. Let’s explore what it looks like to build our homes around who God is – not just structures, but sacred spaces of love, grace, and purpose.
