“He is not here – He is risen!”
On Resurrection Sunday, we celebrate the victory of Jesus – not just a great teacher or prophet, but God Himself, risen from the dead. The empty tomb declares it: Christ is alive, and nothing will ever be the same.
💥 Christ’s resurrection confirms His divinity, and He is the pioneer of a movement that spans the globe. Jesus went first, defeating sin and death – and now a train of millions follow in His steps.
Like David’s surprising triumph over Goliath, the cross was the unexpected place of victory. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 15, “The last enemy to be destroyed is death”, and Jesus has already struck the decisive blow.
🙌 We rejoice in the wonder of the cross – both Jesus crucified on it and now empty – and celebrate the joy, hope, and life it gives us. The grave could not hold Him. He is the only true, living King.
