At Hatfield, worship and prayer are at the heart of who we are. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers to be Christ’s witnesses. The gifts of the Spirit are given for the building up of the Church, and we make space for His presence both in our gatherings and daily lives.
💡 The Church was birthed on Pentecost (Acts 2), filled with the Spirit, and sent into the world. Our gatherings reflect this: multi-ethnic, multigenerational, grounded in the Word, empowered by the Spirit, and sent on mission.
⛪ The Church is not just an institution – it is organic, with Christ as the head and foundation. Leaders are given to equip the saints (Ephesians 4:12), not to dominate. We guard against the overemphasis on apostles and prophets that places supernatural experiences or political power above biblical truth. Instead, we embrace a naturally supernatural spirituality, worshipping boldly, praying fervently, and living out our faith daily.
🌎 We are the scattered Church, taking His presence onto every frontline – our homes, workplaces, and communities. Healthy church growth isn’t about power but transformation – hearts surrendered, lives changed, and the Gospel lived out.
