Sydney born, London based artist AK SPORTS is rapidly becoming a name to watch out for. The DJ/producer is also the founder of Nap Girls AU, an LA-based platform used to unite and celebrate women in the music industry. Already in her career, she’s been a guest for Triple J’s Mix Up, The Friday Mix, Sydney’s FBi Radio, and Melbourne label clipp.art. She’s filled an impressive main stage slot at Lost Paradise Festival, and her debut single ‘Professor Bitch’ released on a Blue Line Steppers compilation for Of Leisure Records has already been pressed into wax. Her latest single ‘Beast’ released on Berlin label Tooflez Muzik has already received widespread acclaim and is a huge step forward into the big leagues. Having recently relocated to London, AK SPORTS gifts us an hour and a half long exploration into acid, various facets of house, and experimental electronic.
