Frou Frou is relatively new within the local music scene but has already played at some of the cities most notable nightspots. An avid record collector, and a resident for the Melbourne collective Crate Mates, she’s can be spotted laying some down at Glamorama, Dr. Morse, Boney, Lounge, and Ferdydurke, and even landed an opening slot for Austrian artist Demuja. Her sound has evolved as she has navigated various audiences, scenes and her own personal journey with music. She also produces her own original works, and a track from Frou Frou fuses deep layered house, ambient pads and evolving acid basslines: all features heard consistently within her sets that has its foundations in house, often broken up with funk and hints of disco.
