Barry talks about the late 1980s Mets and some of the bad decisions the players collectively made, including himself, which held the teams success back. Barry was also big in trying bring baseball back to Mississippi, had all his possessions lost in Hurricane Katrina, including his 1986 World Series ring and finally succeeded in getting a stadium in his beloved Biloxi. I then talk about the yearly overhype of the subway series (small s's for a reason) and how Jose Abreu represents the next in the series of Cuban born MLB stars. I also talk about how late 19th Century star Cap Anson was a biggot and ruined the chances for the first Black baseball standout
