8-28-2019 Passed Ball Show. John opens up this show by talking about Andrew Luck's sudden retirement from the Indianapolis Colts just two weeks before the regular season. Anybody who thinks Luck stuck it to the Colts by handling it in this fashion should realize the Colts stuck it to Luck with the way they treated him over the course of his career. Their negligence led to his injuries and are the reason he is retiring. The Colts have nobody to blame but themselves. Billy Hatcher has some of the best postseason numbers in the history of the sport, albeit 52 at bats. He should have won the 1990 World Series MVP over Jose Rijo. Steve Young will forever be remembered as a Pro Football Hall of Fame Quarterback. John talks about how easily this may not have happened and the circumstances that led to him becoming the San Francisco 49ers starting QB. John finishes off by giving the single season home run records for each of the 30 MLB teams. CORRECTION: the Royals record belongs to Mike Moustakas, who hit 38 in 2017.
