1-11-2022 Passed Ball Show. John opens up this version of the program by congratulating the Georgia Bulldogs on a well played National Championship victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide. John talks about his rooting interest which was leaning for Alabama because of his interest in their dominance as a historian. John then explains how fun it was to watch this Georgia team and how by the time the game was over, he was happy for Kirby Smart, Stetson Bennett, and the Bulldogs. Speaking of Bennett, John talks about how an NFL developmental league would be perfect for the quarterback and why it might be better to have a league run simultaneously with the NFL and its regular season. After he gives his reasons, he compares it to the likes of the NBA’s G League and explains why that is working and perfect for the NBA right now. Finally, John spends some time talking about the return of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson, how hyped this return was, and why the Warriors are just as good now as they were when they won three NBA Finals and two other Western Conference Championships. Lastly, John talks about the fake news involving New York being such a superior sports city and how it is all relative to which fans we are talking about. Non NY fans do not look at NY as having the best fan base and most passionate fans. The only fans that believe that are NY fans, as they should.
