He has gotten his players paid and it seems like his pending FA clients will be getting paid as well. John describes the payroll flexibility many teams have had and why San Francisco was ready to pay Carlos Correa. He uses the same logic to explain why Carlos Rodon might end up with the Minnesota Twins. In between, John bugs out on the losers on social media who have nothing better to do than make up random shit and hope something sticks to the wall. Finally, John wonders if the Yankees could convince Rodon to take a pay cut (he could get a $200 million contract) and how much of a hero he would be in New York if he did.
