EPISODE 44: Hop Saint Brewing, Torrance, CA (LA Road Trip!)
On this installment of Creative Distillation, we continue our LA Road Trip at HopSaint Brewing in Torrance, California. Recommended to us by Real Soda's Danny Ginsberg as a great lunch spot with amazing beer, we beelined it over and immediately fell in love with the place. Bustling with a busy lunchtime crowd, the New Orleans-inspired vibe and menu did not disappoint, and the beer was every bit as fantastic as promised.
Our deeply satisfying initial experience had us hunting down the founder with the hope of recording a Creative Distillation episode there. Yet again, HopSaint delivered. We returned at lunchtime the next day to sit down with founder Steven Roberts and brewmaster Brian Brewer (yep, Brewer) to learn more about HopSaint's origins, and their clear vision for true community, built on craft beer.
