Gerald Walker had been relatively quiet in the two years following 2015’s TARGET, but the New York-via-Milwaukee MC has offered a steady stream of releases since. Not unlike his Blue Collar Gang label head Stalley (who appears on Walker’s 2018 single “Peace of Mine), Walker has forged his own lane, eschewing trap beats and drill friendly production for soulful more smooth instrumentation (Feel So Real).
