i went for 'uh' because i have a kind of faith in uncertainty & hesitation. i dragged it out a wee way (~5s ) in my bathroom & then chopped interesting segments of varying related lengths (fwiw .053, .106, .214, .428, .856, 1.712s) and had them shuffle at various [more-or-less arbitrary] volumes through different patterns (sequenced in my old copy of fruityloops {@ 122bmp}). Excuse the click-y non 0db crossing chops and starts if you will; i kind of like 'em even though i know they're not *right*.
