Mark 7:24-30 - Jesus perplexes us with some controversial words to a Gentile woman. The real shock, however, is that in doing so, he not only demonstrates again that cleanliness is not a matter of externals, but shows God's heart in touching any of "those people" who presume upon his goodness rather than their own.
