The Eviction Moratorium is about to end, Zach Enlow of Enlow Law is here to give us some ideas about what is happening. Last year the federal government issued a moratorium that prohibits the eviction of tenants but now starting July 1st evictions are supposed to go back to normal. Which means if you are a landlord and your tenant failed to pay you can now give them notice to quit and failure to pay wouldn’t be a reason to get evicted. For the past year landlords had not been taken into consideration for this moratorium for as a property owner they still do have obligations to comply. And as the moratorium is about to end this June 30, things should be going back to normal for if they don’t, landlords might also take actions to protect themselves and it may affect the rental rate for properties.
