Glenn Sanford, the founder of eXp Realty shares a little bit of history and what it's like to be part of the organization. eXp Realty is a residential brokerage that started in 2009. They are the first fully cloud-based residential brokerage, which basically means that they don’t have physical offices and they don’t build franchises. Agents work from their home offices and go out and meet with clients whether buying or selling. They created a model that makes it more lucrative for the agent to be part of eXp Realty. In eXp Realty, it is less expensive for the agents to have their license. They also pass on some of the benefits from the brokerage owner to the agents. One of which is going out and recruiting agents to be part of eXp Realty and get a bit of an override of those agents' activities. Also they allow individual agents to be a team leader without having to build a traditional real estate team. They started in 2013 the tribute equity to their agent. Agents get equity on various real estate activities such as hitting a certain level of production. eXp Realty has a lot to offer to Real Estate Agents. No wonder it still stays for 12 years in the business.
