Metropolitan Environmental Trust operates a depot where it collects recycled garbages such as plastic bottles, glass bottles, aluminum cans, electronic waste, computers where useful life is already ended, used motor oil, cardboards and other garbages that can be recycled in Tulsa City to make it reusable or make another item out of it. Bobby Schultz explained that the company's main objective is to reduce the contamination that the landfills cause and also save money for the neighborhood since it is considered free unlike throwing trash in the landfill areas. Aside from that, anybody can bring recycled items to the depot for free without showing their identity or whatnot, and also they are offering trailer trucks outside Tulsa once a week to collect the items and bring them back to Tulsa. The people just need to recycle the garbage and put it in a different bag so that it will be ready to go once the trailer truck arrives. MET educates and persuades the people on how important it is to recycle and what the benefits will be.
