Prepare a moving kit, create an overnight bag for your pet, pet food, toys, a bed and a litter so that everything they need is easily accessible while you are busy packing boxes. There are a lot of commotions that will happen during moving day and it can cause stress to your pets so ask a friend to look after them or put them in a kennel care and if it is not possible just put them inside a quiet room. And during the trip if your pet is nervous put them in their crate and cover it with a blanket for them not to see the scenery changing. Set an environment in your new home that is familiar and comfortable for them to get accustomed to their new home easily.
