John Daugherty of the Victory Church shares to us the behind the scenes of the Church production. The Victory Church does storytelling opportunities three times a year, they also do Christmas and easter. Each year they do rewrite the script of the stories from the bible with a new angle with music and film segments. They do rewrite it in a manner that they connect with real people in real life, real experience and real impact of the story to their life. And it is not just a normal production because it is not just composed of just professional crew but it is composed of volunteers and families to make the gospel become real. Just like in business, you have to manage their emotions and as a leader when things don’t go according to plan you have to pivot , you have to shift to make things work. And the most rewarding thing as a director whether in business or in church production is when people understand the brand.
