Indiana lawmakers are taking up the issue of multiple employer welfare arrangements (MEWAs). Over 130 Indiana school districts purchase health benefits through a Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement (MEWA) trust, however, critics say when it comes to MEWAs, there needs to be more transparency.
