The debate over national school choice policy was on display in Indianapolis Monday as US Secretary of Education came to the capital city to make the case for more choice and expanded education opportunities. Meanwhile opponents, like the Indiana State Teachers Association, said vouchers and more charters would only take away badly needed funding for traditional public schools.
