Uzma Zakir RPh has been treating medical cannabis patients in CT since 2015 and is a firm believer in the healing benefits of the sacred cannabis plant for physical, mental, and emotional relief. Uzma hosts a monthly virtual series on a variety of medical cannabis topics to empower patients on their brave choice to use marijuana as their medicine and to foster a compassionate cannabis community. She speaks extensively in CT on patient care and cannabinoid therapeutics. Uzma is on the Board of Directors for the Recovery Network of Programs, a non-profit organization in Bridgeport, CT, that is dedicated to helping individuals recover from substance abuse, homelessness, and mental health disorders.
