Description

The Game Changers podcast celebrates those true pioneers in education who are building schools for tomorrow. In this final conversation of Series Seven of the Game Changers podcast, we talk with Sally Lasslett, Principal of The Hester Hornbrook Academy. Recognising that mainstream education is not suitable for all young people, their programs are driven by the personal pursuits of students and integrate wellbeing and life skills approaches. Educators and Youth workers work together to support students. They work with a wide range of students, including those who are young parents, currently in or leaving out of home care, experiencing homelessness, or who have been disengaged from mainstream education.

The Game Changers podcast is produced by Oliver Cummins for Orbital Productions, supported by a School for tomorrow (aSchoolfortomorrow.com), and powered by CIRCLE by CIRCLE – The Centre for Innovation, Research, Creativity and Leadership in Education (www.circle.education).
