While most of the country is in full-swing Spring, truckload spot markets are stuck skiing downhill. To make the freight market more interesting, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott ramped up inspections for every northbound truck, causing Mexican truck exports to plummet by 80% and drivers to protest and block access to border crossings.
