Welcome to To Practice, a practitioner skill-building conversation presented by SACSA. This season is centered around strategic planning. To Practice is hosted by Kate Radford, Director of Leader Education and Development at Clemson University, and Myles Surrett, Associate Vice President at James Madison University.

In the second episode of this season, Myles and Kate talk through the necessary components of a strategic plan. They also discuss the pros and cons of the divisive topic of visions and missions for organizations. They wrap up with a conversation about the relative value of having quantified outcomes in a strategic plan.
