A recent one-day economic blackout targeted large brands like Amazon, Walmart, and Whole Foods. The People’s Union USA was behind the event. It said one purpose was to highlight growing financial inequality in the U.S. And, it’s planning to hold a series of additional boycotts. Maurice Schweitzer is a professor at Wharton.
