#ArtOfTheMatter - In episode two TDUB sits down with portrait artist barry johnson at his show "Duality" which was on view at the VMC Gallery for the months of September/ October 2021. barry and TDUB recall their time at the BLM Mural, and discuss a range of topics from racism and tokenism to activism and representation.
We also pay a visit to barry's home studio to get a glimpse into his artistic process. barry describes his love for the magic of creating his works and his hope for the impact of his art on the visibility of the Black diaspora.
