Psalm 43 is a prayer for deliverance. Many believe that it is actually a continuation of Psalm 42. Certainly, it is probable that they are related because verse five offers the same refrain as Psalm 42:6. It is a prayer offered by the godly remnant of Israel who cry out to God to act on their behalf during the Tribulation. Though believers are not living in the Great Tribulation, the lessons from the psalm are still applicable to believers today in the midst of daily trials and tribulations.
