Adrian Trimboli, co-founder of Fresh Start Advisory, has experienced the highs and lows of business since starting the company in 2020.

A few months ago, he and his partner, Frank Ambesi, wondered if they shouldn’t quit, out of fears that interest rate rises would drive investors from the market. Yet soon after, they signed up a record 20 clients in a single month.

In this honest chat with Buyer’s Agent Institute founder Ben Handler, Adrian explains that he and Frank, who used to work in the disability support sector, have done things the hard way, grinding through 70-hour weeks and making a lot of mistakes. But thanks to their positive attitude and their BAI education, they’ve been able to build a thriving business that now employs eight people and is attracting repeat customers. Even better, some of Fresh Start’s staff were former clients.

Adrian and Frank were inspired to start Fresh Start after getting burned by a broker and buyer's agent, respectively. So one thing they're big on is providing an ethical service. Another is education, because they want people to understand the steps you need to take to build wealth through property.
