Jaggery Radio’s fourth guest, KORRĒ is a selector of selectors and an insanely talented producer– his tracks sit with me and push me to think a little deeper about how I feel while listening to them; I thought it would be so lovely to have him showcase his musicianship for this episode.
This time around, Korrē was kind enough to share a bit about himself and the story behind this mix:
i'm korrē
a haitian-puerto rican sound artist from brooklyn, amongst other things.
if you've seen or heard my work before, you know it's all intensely personal, vulnerable, and introspective, so i wanted the mix to reflect that.
this one was recorded during a depressing, anticlimactic, rainy weekend.
i'd say this mix is dark, dense, and intimate.
it also features a special voice.
thank you for listening
