Oxford’s Simple family continue their monthly show on Voices featuring residents and special guests. This month Bob E Demons brings us a special mix straight off the back of a mega weekend supporting Surusinghe, Simple’s first show of A/W 2025. Bradford-born, Oxford-based, via a few hard years of London; head full of bleeps, legs wobble with bass. Known for slamming records together that shouldn’t, mostly acid house, post punk, percussive clangers and techno bangers but loves throwing in a few surprises. Recent slots alongside Neffa T, Surusinghe and Bakey have shown he’s a force behind the decks and this mix is a good example, a dynamic and powerful journey through new and old dancefloor sounds.
A staple of Oxford’s nightlife for the past 26 years, Simple continues to throw parties with some of the best DJs on the global circuit as well as local homegrown talent. They’ve just launched their Spring/Summer season of events with a stunning headline set from Soul Mass Transit System kicking things off on Jan 31st…much more to come over the next few months - Dr Banana, Tim Reaper, Blumitsu, Wookie and many more, keeping them at the forefront of the scene.
