Earlier this year the City of London Corporation announced the retirement of Annie Hampson OBE (Chief Planning Officer) in March.
In a local government career spanning over four decades, three of which were spent at the City of London, Annie has made a huge contribution to planning in London. Notable projects that she has been involved in include the introduction of the UK's first wind guidelines, Millennium Bridge, and The Gherkin - 30 St Mary Axe.
This informal conversation with Annie, moderated by Liam Lawson-Jones (Assistant Planning Consultant at Gerald Eve and CPA NextGen Steering Group member) celebrates and explores personal anecdotes from Annie's career, as well as how the City has changed over the past three decades.
