Brief Chorus Biog:
This group consists of around 35 talented, young singers from Galway, Athenry, Gort and Tuam. They have been rehearsing individually with their directors Helen Farrell & Sinead Pokall (Athebry), Noreen McDermott & Joan O' Neill Kelly (Gort), Connie Burke (Tuam) and Mary Murphy (Tuam). The group also featured choristers from St. Nicholas' Schola Cantorum (director: Mark Duley). The group have come together under the directorship of Mark Duley for the new opera Paper Boat, and they will perform as part of the opera on 23rd April in St. Nicholas' Church in Galway conducted by Sinead Hayes.
