"The mix includes music from myself and @redacsf off my label Knowledge Imprint. I also tried to focus on tracks from friends and collaborators; as such you will find music from @kaiserksr_it, @kalterende, @moteka, @basamro, @vicmarick to name a few.
I structured the mix in a way that I thought would be representative of a full night at TOYTOY. Starting with some ambient, leading into some warmer sounding grooves then pushing through to the more frenetic stuff and finally closing off with some decompressing dub sounds. I appreciate the club night’s strong history in the South African scene and it’s ability to unite a broad spectrum of artists and clubbers - as such, I decided to mix old with new, local with international and hard with soft to create a journey that ebbs and flows and caters to a broad range of tastes." - @deanoknowledge
