Swamp Music Players are a retro futuristic music collective with a passion for Swamp Rock, Swamp Blues and Cosmic Americana. Founded in Canada in the early 2010’s as an event series the collective has grown to include members from the USA.. Swamp Music Players have since worked with award winning producers and international recording artists with music featured in the 2017 Len Kabasinski film ‘Hellcat’s Revenge’.
Laura Jacobs is a classically trained vocalist with a notable career in both fashion and acting. Having been born in the heart of the Canadian prairies she has gone on to appear in Daydream Nation with Kat Dennings, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Muck with Kane Hodder, and the
last season of iZombie. Laura has recently appeared as a model on the glamorous pages of FHM and Maxim Australia. Laura also runs her own successful and prestigious model management company (LRJ Management). With all these worldly experiences her heart still beckons her back to
the childhood days of Country music under the vast skies of the Canadian heartland. With her sultry yet strong vocals and unique writing style she is one to watch in the Country/Americana Music
Scene.
