Under New MGT ,a single early release for our upcoming EP/album 'Tiki Motel 2'. Living through the Coldwar and into the era of paranoia. Living in a tired sun bleached California motel in Los Angeles , our protagonist Earl Jr Jackson Black contemplates the dying of the light and reaches deep for the strength to not only carry on but to believe in a future.
Swamp Music Players double down on our philosophy of organic instrumentation clashing with retro transistorized synthetic sounds. Adopting many of the song writing and production flavors of underground bands from previous decades while making music that's always been intended for the working class. It's this reason we have seen our band flourish with the working class and students of the developing world. Under New MGT is ultimately about common people like ourselves dealing with powers beyond our control that shape our lives.
