Looting is Andrew Bourcet, a Canadian producer, DJ and curator formerly known as Calmpound.
Album 'Chest Pains' is an attempt to close the gap between Andrew's beginnings in music as a guitar player and songwriter in the late 90's - early 00’s and his current work in experimental club music by taking piano, guitar and keyboard improvisations and letting them swim together with elements from his biggest musical influences - jungle, ambient, OST, post-dubstep and sinogrime.
The title 'Chest Pains' is also a reference to the weaponization of sound in the context of crowd control, mind control and social manipulation as well as a reference to the sonic soft war with the modern military-industrial-entertainment-complex that modern revolutionaries and counter cultural artists are engaged with.
